The Montafon is one of the most exciting bike regions in the Alps – and Chalet Christl is right in the middle of it. Just a few minutes from us, the Hochjoch cable car carries you up into the Montafon mountains, from where you then race back down into the valley. Add countless touring and e-bike routes throughout the valley, and anyone who likes to spend the day in the saddle is in exactly the right place.
For anyone with a sporty streak, the Hochjoch – the local mountain – is a real highlight: the cable car takes you comfortably up, and on the flow trails (one easy, two intermediate) you sweep back down to the valley with plenty of fun and a wonderful view over Schruns. Whether experienced rider or ambitious beginner, here nature, movement and a dose of adrenaline come together for an active summer’s day – for the whole family, too. To keep your bike safe and dry, a lockable bike room is available right in the house, where you can also clean and dry your gear. You can charge e-bikes conveniently with us as well. And after a long day on the trail, your own infrared sauna in the apartment is especially good for recovery – loosen the muscles, light the wood stove, put your feet up.
